As the son of two proud Cincinnati Public Schools educators, Myles has always understood the importance of ensuring that music students of all levels have access to the best education possible. He has worked with young people across Cincinnati and has recently branched out into neighboring cities within Ohio such as Ripley, Middletown, and Dayton just to name a few. He is able to put together ensembles featuring some of the best musicians and educators in the state.

Myles serves as the Assistant Director of Cincinnati Public Schools' Cincinnati Jazz Academy housed at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center. In this position, he has taught private jazz and trumpet lessons to students ranging from elementary (4th-6th grade) all the way through middle and high school (7th-12th grade). In addition, he also leads several large and small ensembles ranging in size from seven to 30+ students.

Myles also serves as the In-School Coordinator for Non-Profit Organization Jazz Alive. In this role, he is in charge of scheduling, programming and presenting educational performances that highlight the essential elements of Jazz music and Jazz history. 

​

For the school year of 2023 - 2024 Myles was appointed the director of Xavier University's  Jazz Orchestra (Cincinnati, OH) and was the adjunct Jazz trumpet instructor at the same university. He was responsible for teaching all Jazz trumpet students within the college. Additionally, he was entrusted with scheduling and programming a number of concerts including one featuring guest trumpeter Marlin McKay.
