MYLES ELLINGTON TWITTY MUSIC
Trumpeter, Arranger, and Educator

"Myles Twitty is an exceptional musician and educator who sounds just like his heart - BEAUTIFUL! "
- Alvester Garnett,

Gentle "Revolutionary"
A long-time believer in the power of music as a means of protest, Twitty's debut album Gentle "Revolutionary" was composed after reading the "Autobiography of Malcolm X". Through this project, he hopes to analyze the duality of being a passionate revolutionary and also a "kind and gentle man". Though not in tribute to Malcolm X, his legacy of humanitarianism heavily influenced the development of this album and its title track.
